The following post was dictated to me by Ava, at her request, and she is very excited to be contributing her first post to the blog: 
"I am very excited to meet my baby sister. I think that I will be a very good big sister. I'm planning to get Aliya her bottle when she's thirsty. I'm also going to teach her to color beautifully, the way I do."

I hope you have some fun with mommy and daddy while they are home. Soon baby sis will be home with you too.

Welcome home. Ava is so lucky to have a little sister coming. What a great Christmas present! I can tell that Ava will be a wonderful big sister! Congratulations to you all and I hope that you will soon bring home little Aliya (which is a great spelling). I don't necessarilly wish for the next weeks to speed by since you'll be sharing it with Ava, but I hope that the time is high-quality family time and that it seems to fly by because you are enjoying your time together.
